Who am I?

Hi! I’m Ethan, a photographer and videographer based in South England. My journey into photography began during the Covid lockdowns when I, like many others, needed a creative outlet to stay sane while stuck indoors. I picked up a camera and started to see the world through a new lens (literally). What started as a simple hobby quickly grew into a passion. Before I knew it, I was investing in my first ‘high-end’ camera, the Sony A7iii.

I never really considered making photography a full-time gig until I started receiving requests from friends and neighbors for photo sessions. The thought of charging for my work felt strange and unfamiliar at first. This is a common feeling among creatives, I think— we’re often more comfortable creating than charging!

After nearly ten years in the banking industry, I decided to take a leap of faith in early 2024 and pursue photography and videography full-time. I’d spent the previous two years documenting behind-the-scenes content for various music industry projects and realised how much I loved capturing the essence of people and events.

Since leaving my 9-5 job, my business and network have grown beyond what I could have imagined. I’m incredibly grateful for the new clients and friends I’ve made along the way. This journey has been nothing short of amazing, and I’m excited for all the projects and opportunities that lie ahead.
